This is a picture taken in late April and you can see snow on the mountains still. Spring is an extended sort of season in the Pacific North West. One has to embrace all the rainy weather and wear the right gear or get all cold and soggy. This photo was taken on the way home from Hood River Hospital the day after my son's birth. There really is much to be thankful for in this beautiful green world.
